About Us

The Hub of Non-profit Innovation and Workforce Development

The Hub grew out from the confluence of opportunity and necessity. The BGCSLV needed administrative space but wanted to provide much needed support to other non-profits and was diving into its role as the SLV Convener for Work-Based Learning in out-of-school time. The 17,000 square foot space houses offices and meeting space for partners like SLVGO, Southwest Conservation Corps, and a co-working space. The Co-working space is available for small non-profits, foundation officers, and government officials in need of quiet work space in a friendly environment. It also will feature a commercial kitchen for commissary use managed with the Local Foods Coalition. Students will be able to gain skills and certifications to enter the workforce in food service or intern with the many partners housed in the building. The Hub seeks to become the central freewheel of connection between non-profits, youth and opportunities.
